West Virginia Mountaineers NCAA Tournament History & Scores

West Virginia Mountaineers All-Time NCAA Tournament Record: 27-26

The WVU Mountaineers are a 2-time Final Four participant after reaching the 2010 NCAA Tournament Final Four and finishing as tournament runner up in 1959. After a strong run of NCAA Tournament appearances in the 1980s WVU made it to the Big Dance just twice between 1989 and 2005, but 5 NCAA Tournament bids in 6 years from 2005 through 2010 brough West Virginia back into the national spotlight in college basketball. In their lone year away from the NCAA Tournament in that stretch, 2007, WVU won the NIT Tournament Championship defeating Clemson.
