Minnesota Golden Gophers NCAA Tournament History & Scores

Minnesota Golden Gophers All-Time NCAA Tournament Record: 12-11

The Minnesota Golden Gophers do not have the NCAA Tournament history of many of their Big Ten rivals with their lone Final Four appearance in 1997 having been forfeited due to NCAA sanctions. The Golden Gophers hired former Kentucky head coach Tubby Smith in 2007 with Smith leading them to the NCAA Tournament in 2009 and 2010. In addition to their NCAA Tournament success, Minnesota won the NIT Tournament in 1993.
