Illinois Fighting Illini All-Time NCAA Tournament Record: 38-29

The Illinois Fighting Illini won the National Championship in 1915, before the introduction of the NCAA Tournament. The Illini have reached the Final Four 5 times including 2005 when they lost the NCAA Tournament Championship game to North Carolina. Historically, Illinois has appeared in the NCAA Tournament nearly 30 times with a winning record in the Big Dance with several NIT Tournament appearances as well.
