Why The Bearkats Can Surprise: He has some help in the impressive assist-to-turnover ratio from Josten Crow and Drae Murray. Crow, the starting small forward, does just about everything. He is a superb shooter and rebounder and also dishes out 3.9 assists per game. Even Murray, the backup point guard, who only plays about 17 minutes per game, averages 3.6 assists per contest. With those three hanging onto the ball, Sam Houston State has the ability to play fast, but play under control.
