2009 NCAA® Basketball Tournament
Scheduled to begin with the play-in game on March 17th, the 2009 NCAA Tournament will conclude on April 6th, 2009 with the NCAA Tournament Championship game which will be held at Ford Field in Detroit. In addition to the 31 automatic bids, the standard 34 at-large bids have joined the automatic bids in the Field of 65 which is listed below. The 2009 NCAA Tournament's First Round games will be played March 19 & 20, the Second Round on March 21 & 22. The Sweet 16 games begin March 26th as the 2009 NCAA Tournament continues until the 2009 National Champion is crowned.
