WVU basketball notes:
Live by the three and die by the three. Nobody embodies that cliché more than WVU. During last years NCAA Tournament it was obviously a positive, but it can just as easily be a negative. The Mountaineers drain ten long balls per contest, yet rank 10 th in the conference in three-point shooting percentage. Normally it is a concern for a team that goes just seven deep, but West Virginia rarely gets in foul trouble and the bench does not need to be called upon. Of those seven players, five are seniors who have been there before; and, along with John Beilein’s stellar coaching, nothing is better in March than experience.
Likely 2006 NCAA Tournament finish: Sweet 16
