Davidson Wildcats basketball notes:
The Wildcats do everything you would expect from a team filled with seniors. They share the ball amazingly well, led by Kenny Grant’s 6.5 assists per game, and rarely turn the ball over. The free-throw shooting ranks in the top ten in the nation at nearly 77%. Jason Morton and coach’s son Matt McKillop have the ability to hit the long ball with consistency. Ian Johnson, Thomas Sander and Boris Meno are the players that need to step up on the defensive end. While Davidson prepared well in the non-conference schedule, those post players have not seen the quality of big men that they will encounter in the tournament in quite some time.
