2004 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 & Final Four Teams

The 2004 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 included a single double-digit seeds as #10 Nevada advanced in the St. Louis Regional before falling to eventual National Runner-up Georgia Tech. No team seeded below a #3 seed was able to advance to the Final Four as the 2004 NCAA Final Four included a #1 seed (Duke), two #2 seeds (Oklahoma State & UConn) and a #3 seed (Georgia Tech). The 2004 NCAA Basketball Tournament National Championship was won by Jim Calhouns' UConn Huskies as they defeated Georgia Tech 82-73.
