2003 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 & Final Four Teams

The 2003 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 included two double-digit seeds as #10 Auburn and #12 Butler advanced in the East Regional. No team seeded below a #3 seed was able to advance to the Final Four as the 2003 NCAA Final Four included a #1 seed (Texas), a #2 seeds (Kansas) and two #3 seeds (Syracuse & Marquette). The 2003 NCAA Basketball Tournament National Championship was won by Jim Boeheim's Syracuse Orange as Carmelo Anthony led Syracuse to the title with a 81-78 win over Kansas.
