1993 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 & Final Four TeamsThe 1993 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 included a single double-digit seed as the #12 George Washington Colonials along with one #7 seed (Temple) and two #6 seeds (Cal & Virginia) proved to be in the Top 16 teams in the nation. Three of four #1 seeds advanced to the Final Four with Kansas as the lone #2 seed of the four. In the end, Michigan, UNC, Kentucky & Kansas all advanced to the Final Four as the UNC Tar Heels defeated Michigan 77-71 in the 1993 men's NCAA Tournament Championship game, a game best-known for Chris Webber's unfortunate timeout call when Michigan did not have any timeouts remaining.
