Virginia Cavaliers Football Bowl History

The Virginia Cavaliers have struggled to put together a consistent winner throughout the program's history resulting in less than 20 bowl appearances. With 17 bowl games from 1984 through 2007 it seemed that the Cavaliers were on the right track, but Virginia failed to make a bowl game in 2008, 2009 and 2010 leading to the dismissal of coach Al Groh. Historically, the Cavaliers have played in the Peach Bowl four times.
