Wisconsin Badgers Basketball 10-year Review

College Sports Fans reviews the Wisconsin Badgers, one of the NCAA’s top athletic programs

Wisconsin Badgers Basketball

While the Wisconsin football program has seen their record seesaw over the years but always remain in the national spotlight, the baseball team has remained consistent, while only in recent years gaining national recognition. Since the 1996-97 season the Badgers have won at least 18 games in every season accept for one. Over that same time period they have finished in the top four in the Big Ten seven times. The past four years have been particularly impressive for Wisconsin; the team has won at least 25 games three times in that span.

Wisconsin Badgers Basketball Future Outlook

Wisconsin’s 30-win team from last year only had two seniors. Unfortunately for the Badgers those two players were All-American forward Alando Tucker and talented guard Kammron Taylor. Juniors Brian Butch and Michael Flowers will have experience, but will need to step up their offensive production in order to keep Wisconsin near the top of the conference. Some help will come in this years recruiting class, led by a pair of four-star recruits in power forwards Jon Leuer and Keaton Nankivil.
